Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve the highest levels of customer service, sales, and profitability
- Support the store management team across all personnel, product, merchandising functions, and business processes
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings
- Communicate marketing campaigns and promotional activities clearly to the team
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team while delivering an exemplary customer journey
- Foster a positive store environment by treating all customers and colleagues with fairness and consistency
- Support the team in executing business strategy with consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve company sales goals including sales versus budgets, sales per hour (SPH), and units per transaction (UPT)
- Perform manager-on-duty functions, oversee store opening and closing procedures, and manage the sales floor
- Emphasize the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers
- Build accountability for repeat customer relationships through spirited, unparalleled service delivery
- Execute and continually review door-to-floor visual merchandising best practices for consistency across sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with management to develop talent pipelines for key positions, including potential successors
