Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve highest levels of customer service, sales performance, and profitability
- Support store management team in overseeing all personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes, and results
- Communicate daily with staff regarding individual sales goals, key performance indicators, store results, product sales, and performance metrics
- Conduct end-of-shift one-minute meetings to summarize performance results, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements
- Execute and model company-established best practices in customer service, store operations, loss prevention, and point-of-sale systems
- Achieve personal sales targets including sales versus budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction metrics
- Monitor competitive landscape and community information; communicate findings to Store Manager that may impact business operations
- Foster importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers across the team
- Manage customer complaints promptly and effectively with professional resolution
- Analyze store-level reports and develop action plans to improve operational and sales results
- Perform manager-on-duty functions including store opening/closing procedures and sales floor management
Qualifications
- Proven track record in supervisory or specialist roles within premium or luxury brands
- Demonstrated people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
- Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships with ease
