Tommy Hilfiger seeks a part-time supervisor for the kidswear department at its Kildare Village location in Ireland. The supervisor will lead shop floor operations, manage personnel and merchandising functions, drive sales targets, and maintain premium in-store standards while upholding the brand's commitment to exceptional customer service and employee development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve customer service, sales, and profitability objectives
- Support the management team by overseeing personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes and store results
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings
- Communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to team members
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team whilst delivering an exemplary customer experience
- Foster a positive store environment through fair and consistent treatment of all customers and colleagues
- Deliver training on product knowledge and maintain store standards across the team
- Achieve company sales targets including budgets, sales per hour and units per transaction
- Perform manager-on-duty functions including store opening, closing and sales floor supervision
- Build and maintain customer relationships to develop repeat business
- Ensure visual merchandising directives and best practices are consistently executed on the sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with management to identify and develop talent for key positions
Qualifications
- Proven track record in supervisory or specialist retail roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Previous people management experience with demonstrated conflict resolution capabilities
- Strong communicative abilities with proven relationship-building skills
- Team player with ability to recognize and celebrate team contributions
