Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative window display and in-store visual merchandising concepts aligned with brand aesthetics and commercial objectives
  • Create and coordinate regular visual merchandising plans with retail managers, ensuring timely execution, documentation, and quality control across all locations
  • Manage relationships with contractors and production professionals for prop sourcing, production, and timely installation on budget
  • Implement seasonal merchandising guidelines, floor sets, and marketing materials in accordance with new product launch calendars
  • Coach, train, and develop visual merchandisers and display staff to maintain quality standards and maximize sales performance
  • Present seasonal concepts and new initiatives during team training sessions
  • Oversee new store concept development, establish planning standards, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
  • Plan and communicate store setups—both new and renovated—to optimize assortments and meet local requirements within budget
  • Supervise design outsourcing agencies and manage the store planning project database, including drawings, documentation, and material packages
  • Conduct regular market and site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent compliance
  • Partner with Regional Store Planning teams, retail operations, and local stakeholders to coordinate project execution
  • Foster collaborative team culture and motivate visual merchandising staff to achieve strategic goals

Qualifications

  • University graduate with a major in Fashion, Art, Visual Merchandising Design, or Fashion Retail
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in fashion retail visual merchandising and store design
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading creative staff, visual merchandisers, and display teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in color theory, styling, outfit coordination, and current fashion trends
  • Strong proficiency in store planning, space planning, and design coordination
  • Proven ability to communicate design concepts to store teams and maintain VM quality standards
  • Excellent project management and time management capabilities
  • Fluent in written and verbal Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English

Experience

University degree with a major in Fashion, Art, Visual Merchandising Design, Fashion Retail, or equivalent field. Alternative: 8–10 years of substantial practical VM experience may substitute for formal qualification.
