Role & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver Tommy Hilfiger customer service to company standards, generating maximum sales potential
- Maintain appropriate merchandise levels on the sales floor and ensure accurate product replenishment
- Ensure the store maintains a visually distinctive appearance and is impeccably maintained
- Develop and build a repeat customer base through excellent data capturing and service quality
- Maintain strong product knowledge regarding merchandise, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers
- Execute opening and closing checklist duties as directed by store management
- Operate all register transactions including refunds, exchanges, store credits, gift cards, and cash pulls
- Reconcile all media when requested, including counting register tills and auditing between cashiers
- Observe sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and advise management of any unusual activity
- Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed while maintaining visual presentation standards
- Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members fairly and consistently
- Participate in Take 5 meetings and staff meetings as required
- Assist in developing junior Sales Associates and maintain respect of peer groups
Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability to work rotating hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and conduct aligned with the Tommy Hilfiger brand image
- Demonstrated cash handling experience or capability
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
Retail experience in a customer-facing sales role is preferred; prior experience as a senior sales associate, team lead, or in a supervisory capacity within retail is advantageous but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
