Tommy Hilfiger seeks a part-time Lead Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver the brand’s customer service standards while supporting cash handling, loss prevention, merchandising and daily store operations. The role also helps develop Sales Associates and requires schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Sell and promote Tommy Hilfiger merchandise in accordance with TH Customer Service Standards, generating maximum sales potential.
- Provide consistent customer service, build repeat business through customer data capture and service, and maintain knowledge of products, promotions and special events to support effective selling.
- Maintain zone coverage, acknowledge each customer in the zone, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
- Keep merchandise replenished to appropriate levels on the sales floor and ensure accurate, consistent product replenishment.
- Maintain the store’s visual presentation, organization, fixtures, hardware and cleanliness; follow visual standards, execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed.
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including loss prevention practices; monitor the sales floor and stockroom, report unusual internal or external activity to management, and help minimize shortages.
- Carry out opening and closing checklist duties as directed by store management to keep the store ready for business.
- Operate register transactions, including refunds, exchanges, associate sales, post voids, store credits, sale sends, gift cards and cash pulls.
- Reconcile payment media when requested, including counting register tills in and out, conducting secondary verification of safe cash funds, and auditing registers between cashiers.
- Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results and of individual contributions to business results.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks; communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Attend Take 5 meetings and participate in staff meetings as required.
- Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance and conduct.
- Work rotating hours as assigned by management, adapt schedules to the needs of the role, and undertake night shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Communicate concerns to management and support company and management decisions.
- Assist in developing Sales Associates, maintain the respect of peers, staff and supervisors, and create energy and excitement around shared goals and values while acting with integrity.
- Lift at least 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
