Tommy Hilfiger Lead Cashier

Role & Responsibilities

• Maximize sales volume whilst maintaining high customer service standards and store appearance standards consistent with divisional philosophy
• Execute specific management-level cash register functions including returns, exchanges, voids, post-voids, and tender reporting per company policy
• Oversee the cash register area to ensure customer and associate awareness at all times and manage the point-of-sale setup effectively
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Sales Associates; motivate team members to meet goals and objectives
• Maintain visual presentation standards by replenishing merchandise, executing markdowns, maintaining displays, and interpreting floor plans and divisional marketing directives
• Ensure accuracy in all paperwork, follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program protocols, and maintain productivity in non-selling tasks such as shipment processing and inventory counting
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with team members and management; develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures
• Lead by example, fostering teamwork, taking initiative with sound judgment, and supporting all company and management decisions

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to maximize sales volume and understand factors impacting sales performance
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations, including management-level functions
• Strong visual merchandising knowledge and ability to maintain store appearance standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work rotating hours and flexible schedules as assigned by management
• Professional image and conduct; adherence to divisional dress code policy

Skills

Experience

Retail experience in a customer-facing role with demonstrated capability in cash handling, point-of-sale operations, and supporting store management functions is preferred. Prior experience in a supervisory or lead position is advantageous but not required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; further retail or business-related education is advantageous but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.92 to USD 22.24 per hour.
