Tommy Hilfiger is seeking a Lead Cashier for its Roermond Outlet, with responsibility for cashier operations, customer service, sales support, staff development, inventory tasks and visual presentation. The role is full-time; the title lists pay of €17.39.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Generate maximum sales potential while upholding customer service standards, maintaining store appearance, replenishing merchandise on the sales floor and minimizing shortages.
  • Maintain visual presentation standards consistent with the division’s philosophy and direction.
  • Assist with recruiting, training and developing Sales Associates.
  • Ensure customer service is the top priority and supervise the cash register area to maintain customer and associate awareness.
  • Understand and raise awareness of factors that affect sales volume.
  • Motivate and develop associates to meet goals and objectives; foster teamwork, take initiative, exercise sound judgment and lead by example.
  • Maintain a professional image and conduct, follow the divisional dress code, and work as a team member to achieve store goals.
  • Work rotating hours as assigned by management; treat store staff professionally, courteously and respectfully, involve them in achieving store goals, pursue personal development, communicate staff concerns to management, and support company and management decisions.
  • Perform management-level cash register functions in accordance with policy; ensure paperwork accuracy and follow company policies and procedures and the Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program.
  • Maintain productivity in non-selling tasks, including shipment processing, inventory counting and price changes; follow direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain store appearance to divisional standards; replenish merchandise promptly and maintain knowledge of store merchandise, the cash register, sales floor and stockroom organization.
  • Keep management informed of merchandise-related issues; execute markdowns and re-merchandising as needed; ensure timely and effective POS set-up; execute and maintain divisional marketing directives; interpret and execute floor plans and guidelines; maintain displays with attention to detail.
