Tommy Hilfiger seeks a Floor Supervisor in Edmonton, AB to oversee retail operations, lead sales teams, and drive store performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist Store and Assistant Managers in managing personnel, product and merchandising functions, business processes and store results
- Direct and motivate store team to provide exceptional service, generate sales and profit, minimize losses and ensure visual excellence and impeccable maintenance
- Maximize employee productivity and performance
- Ensure compliance and consistent execution of company policies, procedures and established best practices
- Create a spirited and results-driven work environment
- Assist in employee training and development initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum one year full-time retail experience, preferably with some supervisory experience
- Minimum High School education or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business or related field is an asset)
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Physical capacity to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office, lift heavy objects, stretch and bend
- Proficiency with cash register and office computer systems
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday shifts
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of full-time retail experience, preferably with some supervisory or leadership responsibility demonstrated in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business or related field is considered an asset.
