Tommy Hilfiger seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead retail operations and drive sales performance at its Den Haag store location. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, manage team performance, maintain visual merchandising standards, and cultivate exceptional customer experiences. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, prior supervisory experience within a premium or luxury retail environment, and proven ability to inspire teams while maintaining operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales, optimize profit, minimize losses, and create exemplary customer experiences while ensuring visual distinction and impeccable store maintenance
- Identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities through cross-functional collaboration with store management and visual merchandising teams
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards across sales floor and back-of-house areas
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory management
- Communicate sales drivers and operational priorities to the Store Manager; develop and execute weekly visual presentation action plans
- Analyze store-level reports and create data-driven action plans to improve financial and operational results
- Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring; build diverse store teams and cultivate succession planning for key positions
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings to align on performance targets and strategic initiatives
- Communicate store and individual sales goals, performance expectations, and results guidance to all staff members
- Ensure achievement of exemplary mystery shop results and consistent customer journey excellence
Qualifications
- Prior supervisory or specialist role experience within a premium or luxury brand retail environment
- Demonstrated people management experience with ability to resolve conflict constructively
- Proven capability to connect with consumers and drive customer loyalty
- Strong communication and team engagement skills with ability to cultivate organizational belonging
- Track record of collaborative leadership and recognition of team contributions
