Tommy Hilfiger seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Manchester Arndale Pop-Up location. Lead teams, drive sales, and deliver luxury retail excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit while minimising losses and delivering exceptional customer experience
- Maintain visual merchandising standards across sales floor and back room in alignment with corporate directives
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory
- Analyse store-level reports and develop action plans to drive business results and performance improvement
- Collaborate with visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and strategic alignment between VM and store operations
- Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring to build diverse, high-performing teams
- Partner with Store Manager to develop succession planning and build bench strength for key positions
- Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals, performance expectations, and results to all staff
- Participate in weekly management meetings and ensure alignment on strategic priorities
- Focus staff on relationship-building with internal and external customers to develop repeat business
- Monitor mystery shop results and drive continuous improvement in customer journey delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years progressive retail experience
- Minimum 2 years store management experience in service or retail industry
- Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships
- Strong people management and conflict resolution capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioural change
- Ability to work effectively with change and adapt with pace
- Energetic presence on the shop floor with authentic engagement

Experience
Minimum 4 years of progressive retail experience, with at least 2 years in a store management capacity within the service or retail sector. Track record of building and leading high-performing teams and delivering strong financial results.
