The Assistant Store Manager supports Tommy Hilfiger’s Store Manager in leading the Lille store, driving sales and service, overseeing merchandising and operations, and developing the team. The role is a permanent, full-time position at 35 hours per week.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in leading the store and team to deliver strong service and results; steps in to guide the team and maintain smooth operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Welcomes customers and provides real-time coaching to the team.
• Builds product and promotion knowledge to highlight value and drive customer loyalty.
• Partners with the Store Manager to uphold service and brand standards.
• Maintains a customer-first mindset and monitors market and in-store trends.
• Leads merchandising execution and uses sales insights to guide floor decisions.
• Ensures compliance with policies, inventory controls, and loss-prevention practices.
• Creates schedules aligned with business needs and supports expense and inventory oversight.
• Contributes to planning and shares customer insights and opportunities.
• Recruits and onboards talent; supports succession planning and performance decisions.
• Motivates, coaches, and recognizes the team to drive results and growth.
• Models professionalism, respect, and pride in the brand.
• Fosters inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Supports company initiatives and promotes a culture of improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail store management experience.
• Flexible availability to support varying business needs.
• Strong communication skills that build trust with teams.
• Ability to coach peers and newer staff members.
• Able to manage priorities during busy periods.
• Reliable follow-through on commitments and deadlines.
• Consistently models brand behaviors for the team.

Experience
