Estée Lauder Companies seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising to support the Tom Ford Beauty and Balmain Beauty brands across France and Benelux. The role encompasses comprehensive trade operations development, sales support material creation, project coordination with design and commercial teams, and visual merchandising execution across key accounts and flagship locations. This internship position offers exposure to luxury beauty marketing, planogram development, point-of-sale execution, and competitive field analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 360° trade operations, including creation of trade support materials, design briefs, distribution specifications, creative verification, and supply chain coordination with design, commercial, and logistics teams
- Conduct weekly project follow-ups with the design team and manage operational scheduling and planning of trade activations in coordination with retail and commercial teams
- Conceive and implement differentiated activations across flagship stores and major department store accounts in partnership with the design and major accounts teams
- Prepare and participate in key commercial meetings in January, March, and June
- Support preparation of marketing presentations and sales enablement tools for retail clients
- Execute point-of-sale launches, including visual updates for new products, campaign materials, and display merchandising
- Create planogram books and provide technical briefs to external service providers for new store openings
- Verify and ensure proper execution of merchandising implementations across retail locations
- Conduct field customer service visits at major department stores and perform post-implementation audits
- Respond to requests and support from commercial teams and department store partners
- Monitor specialized merchandising projects in collaboration with trade marketing and corporate teams
- Manage office shipments, update price signage during tariff increases, and provide support for VIP visits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree +4/+5 (Bac+4 minimum) from a business school or university with specialization in Marketing
- Minimum 6 months of prior marketing experience in similar roles, ideally within a luxury house or cosmetics company
- Proficiency with numerical data and analytical skills
- Fluency in French and English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
