Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver inspirational, personalized makeup artistry services and beauty consultations to customers, combining creative expertise with product knowledge
• Execute in-store events and promotional activities as part of a high-performing retail team to maximize customer engagement and sales impact
• Maintain and enhance visual merchandising displays to establish competitive differentiation and communicate brand aesthetic standards
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately to process transactions, manage inventory, and generate sales documentation
• Build and nurture authentic customer relationships through consultative selling and educational product guidance
• Work flexibly across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high-level creative and technical makeup artistry expertise (certification or professional retail experience preferred, amateur-level experience with proven capability also considered)
• Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a luxury or prestige retail context
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software and digital transaction systems
• Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a dynamic retail environment
• Legal right to work in the United States (proof required if invited to interview)

Skills

Experience

While certification in makeup artistry or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, applicants with demonstrated amateur-level expertise who can articulate strong creative and technical capabilities are encouraged to apply. Previous retail beauty or point-of-sale experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

No formal educational prerequisite is required; makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional training is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.33 to USD 27.21 per hour.
