TOD'S, an icon of Italian craftsmanship and luxury excellence, seeks a Women's Clothing Pattern Maker to translate stylistic direction into technical models whilst ensuring optimal fit, quality, and production feasibility. This role involves continuous collaboration with the Design and Production departments, stewarding garments from prototype development through production launch. The successful candidate will analyse design sketches and technical documentation, manage CAD-driven development, oversee prototype testing, and facilitate design refinements to enhance garment construction and wearability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Interpret design sketches and technical documentation to translate design intent into precise pattern models
- Develop and refine patterns using CAD software, managing digital and manual patternmaking workflows
- Oversee prototype development and conduct quality reviews, implementing pattern modifications to improve fit and construction
- Collaborate actively with the Design Office and Production team throughout the industrialization process
- Conduct revision phases and defect correction, ensuring technical accuracy and production readiness
- Interface with external patternmakers and subcontractors to ensure consistency and quality standards
- Verify miniatures and pattern layouts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare comprehensive technical production specifications and documentation
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of structured experience in patternmaking, combining manual and digital techniques with specialization in outerwear
- Proficiency in CAD systems, preferably Lectra
- Demonstrated ability to interpret design sketches and develop technical patterns
- Expert knowledge of fabrics, materials, and tailoring techniques
- Precision and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and collaborative work approach

Experience
3–5 years of structured patternmaking experience combining manual and digital techniques, with demonstrated expertise in outerwear development and production processes.
Education
Technical training or formal qualification in fashion design, patternmaking, or garment construction is beneficial.

Compensation
