Tod's is seeking a Junior Fashion Designer Intern for its ready-to-wear division in Milan. This full-time internship is hybrid, with one day of smart working; gross compensation is €500–€900 per month, and meal vouchers are provided.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Head Designer creatively and practically during fittings and in coordinating the fashion show or presentation.
- Create three-dimensional designs on mannequins and develop the corresponding patterns in muslin or paper.
- Draw collection sketches by hand and/or digitally.
- Research images for mood boards and projects to present to the Art Director.
- Manipulate and edit images, prints, and artwork using Photoshop or other graphic design programs.
- Manage materials day to day and create corresponding archives for materials and accessories.
- Manage workspaces and work materials day to day, including the fitting set, sewing machine, and archives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Fashion Design with a focus on apparel.
- Excellent command of computer tools, particularly Adobe and 3D design.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Teamwork aptitude, creativity, and research skills.
