Tissot is hiring a Sales Associate (fixed-term summer contract) in Paris (Boulevard Haussmann). Temporary retail role focused on luxury watch sales and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, assess needs, and provide expert advice on the Tissot watch collection and related products.
- Convert footfall into sales through consultative selling, personalised recommendations and effective clienteling.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately: process transactions, returns and manage receipts and paperwork.
- Maintain boutique presentation and merchandising in accordance with brand visual standards and planograms.
- Manage stock replenishment, conduct inventory counts and ensure secure handling of high-value merchandise.
- Meet individual and store sales targets, contribute to promotions and support store KPI tracking.
- Provide after-sales support including warranty registration, basic product explanations and escalation to after-sales service when required.
- Collaborate with store colleagues and management to ensure seamless client journey and shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, ideally 1+ year in luxury goods or watches.
- Demonstrable ability to achieve sales targets in a high-traffic retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Legal right to work in France for the contract period and availability for scheduled retail hours including weekends.
- Attention to detail and reliability when handling cash and high-value inventory.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in retail sales; prior experience in luxury goods or watches strongly preferred. Seasonal or temporary retail experience in busy urban stores is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in retail or horology is a plus.
