Tissot seeks an Accounting Manager in Le Locle, Switzerland to oversee financial operations across three watch brands and lead an 8-person team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate general and tax accounting activities across Tissot SA, Certina SA, and Mido SA
- Ensure the integrity of financial accounts and prepare accurate balance sheets and income statements for all three entities
- Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards and Swatch Group internal directives (Swiss GAAP FER)
- Direct monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial close processes to maintain current and robust financial visibility
- Prepare and manage internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with Swiss accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead continuous review of accounting and financial processes to identify efficiency opportunities
- Implement innovative solutions to streamline operations, accelerate financial cycles, and optimize financial outcomes
- Lead and mentor an 8-person accounting team toward excellence and collaborative success
Qualifications
- Advanced diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent professional certification (Swiss federal specialist certificate in finance and accounting)
- 10 to 15 years of significant and successful experience in a similar role in Switzerland
- Mastery of Swiss and international accounting standards
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
- Excellent analytical and operational management skills
