Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the global accounting function, including revenue recognition, financial reporting, sales audit, payroll and accounting systems.
  • Oversee all general ledger, accounts and reporting systems to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, implement and strengthen accounting policies, internal controls and processes; lead application of new accounting standards and remediation where required.
  • Act as primary stakeholder for integration of accounting principles and reporting systems into the LVMH ecosystem, including Group Reporting interfaces.
  • Drive ERP improvements and contribute to the LVMH–Tiffany ERP roadmap and system integrations.
  • Partner with senior management and business leaders to deliver timely, accurate financial results and actionable analysis.
  • Build and develop the accounting organisation: recruit, mentor and deploy resources to meet business and reporting needs.
  • Foster collaboration with global finance peers and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with substantial leadership experience in complex, dynamic organisations; demonstrated retail industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in revenue recognition, financial reporting and implementing accounting standards.
  • Demonstrable experience with ERP deployments and integrations into group reporting environments.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical rigour and the ability to act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to influence, develop and coach teams across geographies.
  • Proficiency in French preferred.

Experience

At least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles within retail or comparably complex organisations; demonstrable experience leading global accounting teams and system integrations.
