Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the project delivery strategy in collaboration with VP and both local and global stakeholders.
  • Lead the Store Planning team through effective communication and promote innovative ideas.
  • Establish project and communication protocols according to Tiffany standards to ensure effective team engagement.
  • Support Project Managers in reviewing and negotiating lease terms and handover conditions.
  • Conduct post-opening project audits with store design, store planning, and retail teams.
  • Identify areas for improvement in store design, project development, and supplier materials.
  • Manage and develop professional relationships with landlords, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Security, IT, and Finance to identify process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Drive initiatives to expand the vendor pool in collaboration with Sourcing and Local Procurement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role within store planning in luxury goods, fashion, premium real estate, or high-end hospitality.
  • Demonstrated ability in full lifecycle portfolio management from site identification to project closeout.
  • Deep knowledge of local market conditions, contracting, permitting, and regulations.
  • Extensive network of contractors, consultants, landlords, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with high-end flagship stores.

Skills

Strong leadership and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, and Microsoft Project software. Analytical and strong project management skills. Ability to engage multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment. Business level proficiency in Japanese and English.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within store planning in luxury goods, fashion, premium real estate, or high-end hospitality.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
