Tiffany & Co. seeks Assistant Manager for Store Planning in Japan—manage retail development projects, procurement, and multi-site coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support new store projects and manage touch-up projects, store closures from initiation to close-out
- Manage FFE/TCO supplied materials procurement, schedules, and budgets in alignment with the Store Planning Project lifecycle in close collaboration with the Project Manager
- Analyze standards, cost efficiencies, and suppliers to optimize procurement strategies
- Manage approved project schedules to achieve all critical milestones, adjusting and updating schedules as needed throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide regular updates on project schedule, budget, and procurement status to project stakeholders
- Influence cross-functional teams through effective communication, demonstrating clear leadership and promoting collaborative teamwork with colleagues and business partners
- Review sample submittals for materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other FF&E as required
- Review and approve millwork shop drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in store planning at a global luxury goods or fashion company, contractor, or developer
- Demonstrated ability in full lifecycle project management from site identification through project close-out and facility management
- Working knowledge of external facades, structural alterations, building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering
- Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and people management skills
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Willingness to travel within Japan and undertake overnight work as required
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar discipline

Minimum 3 years of store planning experience within the luxury goods or fashion sector, with demonstrated competency in full lifecycle project management, procurement oversight, and owner representation on retail development projects.
