Tiffany & Co. seeks a Service Center Jeweler in Dubai to perform repair, restoration and customization for MEA clientele.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute repairs, alterations and restorations on fine jewelry made of platinum, gold, silver and specialty materials with exacting attention to finish and tolerances.
- Perform advanced bench techniques including soldering, laser welding, fabrication, assembly, enameling, polishing and precision stone setting.
- Conduct engraving and embossing using specialized machinery and ensure consistent decorative execution.
- Deliver basic watch services such as battery replacement, strap adjustments and bracelet sizing as required.
- Manage repair orders and parts inventory, and process job documentation through internal systems with accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and, when needed, engage directly with clients to clarify specifications and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain strict workshop housekeeping and safety protocols to protect high-value assets and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of professional bench experience in jewelry repair, restoration or bench fabrication.
- Proven technical mastery of soldering, laser welding, stone setting and polishing on precious metals.
- Solid knowledge of metal assay and gemstone identification with the ability to assess and document condition.
- High precision, meticulous attention to detail and consistent pride in workmanship.
- Capacity to balance hands-on bench tasks with administrative responsibilities and digital job tracking.
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional weekend shifts.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of bench jeweler experience performing repair, restoration and customization on fine jewelry and working with precious metals and gemstones.
Education
Vocational diploma, formal apprenticeship or equivalent training in jewelry-making, metalsmithing or gemology; equivalent combinations of formal study and proven bench experience accepted.
