Tiffany & Co. is hiring a Senior Operations Associate — Colored Stones & Pearls Logistics in New York, NY. Hourly pay $25.25–$29.70.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage timely receipt, inspection (visual and tactile) and processing of incoming colored stones and pearls, including shipments from internal grading labs.
  • Prepare, verify and dispatch internal and external outbound shipments in compliance with courier, international customs and Tiffany & Co. procedures.
  • Maintain and audit inbound/outbound shipment logs, investigate delivery discrepancies (lost, delayed, misdelivered) and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Execute systematic receiving and ownership transfers in J.D. Edwards (JDE) and control the upload and integrity of Sarine output to JDE.
  • Coordinate shipments to the Merchandise Testing Laboratory (MTL) and retain associated test documentation per record-retention guidelines.
  • Support gemstone and pearl processing workflows (sorting, weighing, grading), return rejected merchandise to suppliers and manage dispositions in JDE.
  • Ensure all incoming/outgoing paperwork includes required compliance statements (e.g., Kimberley, Synthetic, Warranty, VAT where applicable).
  • Manage shipping supplies (ordering via Coupa as needed) and ensure operational readiness of logistics materials.
  • Lead and deliver training for team members, contribute to SOP updates and drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Handle sensitive and proprietary information with strict adherence to security, confidentiality and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years’ experience in operations, logistics, inventory management or supply chain; minimum 3 years preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a high-value, compliance-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience handling sensitive or proprietary merchandise with a rigorous orientation to confidentiality and security
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and competent record-keeping skills

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in operations, logistics, inventory control or supply chain; prior exposure to gemstone or high-value merchandise handling is strongly preferred.
