Tiffany & Co. London: Senior Accountant for bank reconciliations, fixed asset management, and LVMH compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute monthly bank and sub-ledger intercompany reconciliations for UK/IE entities, investigating and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the finance team
- Prepare and manage merchandise and miscellaneous reconciliations across Tiffany US, EMEA, and LVMH Group entities, including Aged Trial Balance and Reconciliation & Normalization Certificate analyses
- Ensure accurate accounting for fixed asset additions in accordance with company policies and prepare monthly depreciation journals
- Reconcile fixed asset data from RAM (asset management platform) to Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements in JD Edwards on a monthly basis
- Review and verify invoice accuracy for miscellaneous charges, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Treasury for settlement
- Prepare indirect tax reporting for distant selling within the EU and produce month-end financial schedules
- Conduct Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss expense analysis as required and post various accounting journals
- Prepare and review management accounts for IE/Nordic markets and maintain adherence to LVMH internal controls frameworks
- Assist with internal and external audit procedures and provide intercompany balance confirmations for audit purposes
- Calculate monthly sales commissions and provide support to the finance team during peak periods and holiday cover
Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
- Proven experience in monthly bank reconciliations for UK/IE entities
- Demonstrated proficiency with fixed asset management, including additions accounting and depreciation
- Experience with merchandise and miscellaneous reconciliations across multi-entity environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive approach to discrepancy resolution
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Current authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting roles, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset management, and multi-entity intercompany reconciliations within large organizational structures or retail environments. Experience within luxury retail or similar client-facing business environments is advantageous.
Education
College or university degree; ACA or ACCA qualification required.
