The Security Officer supports store security, back-of-house operations and sales and service at Tiffany & Co. in Salt Lake City. Responsibilities include theft deterrence, security controls, emergency response, opening and closing procedures, and delivering a distinctive client experience. Permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide security and operational support that helps drive sales and service.
- Partner with the Senior Security Officer and management to deter theft, report missing assets, respond to emergencies and implement Incident Management Program procedures.
- Ensure security systems and procedures are followed through daily inspections, equipment checks, alarm tests, key-access controls and report submissions.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, assist with facilities repairs and communicate with the store team.
- Cover security and back-of-house operations and controls.
- Deliver a positive Tiffany experience to each client and deepen client relationships to encourage long-term loyalty and spending.
- Represent Tiffany as a brand ambassador and carry out store operations to support achievement of the sales plan.
- Consistently elevate the in-store experience and create memorable moments.
- Demonstrate the Client Experience Behaviors identified within the NPS program during customer interactions.
- Optimize hospitality and store amenities to create distinctive experiences, and act on NPS scores and client feedback.
Qualifications
- High school graduate.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work retail store hours as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
- Retail or security environment experience is desired.
- One year of prior experience in a security-related position is desired.
