Security Manager position at Tiffany & Co. in New York. Lead security operations, team management, and loss prevention for luxury retail flagship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and motivate the security team to maintain Global Protection Standards and drive security culture initiatives including MPS, door coverage, and employee awareness training
- Manage security schedules to maximize coverage during peak hours, events, overnight operations, and facilities support
- Partner with Operations and Risk Management to identify and execute shrink-reduction opportunities
- Oversee Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management protocols, serving as the primary point person during emergencies
- Develop and maintain an Internal Investigation program to proactively deter internal collusion and actively investigate theft
- Build and cultivate an external network of law enforcement, local security, retail partners, vendors, and first responders to enhance information gathering
- In partnership with the Regional Security Manager, ensure all physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, keys, perimeter doors/gates) function to standard and schedule maintenance accordingly
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations and security assessments as directed by the Security Director
- Coach security team to embody Tiffany's luxury service ethos, ensuring clients receive consistent, gracious acknowledgment upon entry and exit
- Lead and model excellence based on customer feedback metrics, elevating satisfaction scores through client-centric security practices
- Recruit, hire, and develop diverse, multi-lingual security talent; execute Talent Action Plans and provide continuous coaching and performance feedback
- Oversee security for client events, organize conveyances, prepare site plans with advance scheduling and merchandise protection protocols
- Project a professional, calm demeanor when managing clients and employees across all situations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 4 years of retail management, law enforcement, military, or private security experience
- Highest level of integrity and ethical conduct
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Availability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and quick problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with geographically remote teams
- Authorization to work in the United States
