Tiffany & Co. Retail Coach position in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Drive coaching, training, and leadership development for luxury retail teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and observe daily client interactions on the sales floor, providing feedback against Tiffany knowledge, client experience, selling skills, and brand behavior benchmarks
- Partner with store leaders to identify performance opportunities through observation, sales dashboards, and NPS data, creating market and store-specific coaching plans
- Establish frequent check-in schedules with store leadership to discuss coaching conversations, progress tracking, and emerging opportunities for team development
- Lead by example in fostering a culture of coaching and feedback, working directly with Store and Team Managers to embed continuous improvement practices
- Partner with Regional & Local Retail Learning Managers to facilitate impactful training sessions and peer mentorship programs aligned with business objectives
- Organize and facilitate inspiring onboarding and induction experiences for new hires, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure enhanced learning outcomes
- Prepare monthly training calendars in coordination with store management, mapping learning solutions based on observations and specific store or regional business objectives
- Observe the quality of all in-store training initiatives and maintain active sales floor presence to assess the impact of learning programs
- Ensure brand behaviors are consistently demonstrated on sales floors, including grooming, image, etiquette, and store presentation standards
- Update training records for employees in Tiffany's Oracle Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain comprehensive coaching logs
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in retail leadership and people development
- Proven ability to identify capability gaps and apply coaching and learning methodologies effectively
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact strategically with a broad range of stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated capacity to lead by example and inspire retail teams as a role model
- GIA Certification (preferred)
- Jewelry industry experience (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of retail field coaching, training and development, or facilitation experience in the luxury brand or service sector (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive retail leadership or people development experience, with demonstrated expertise in coaching methodologies and a track record of driving behavioral and performance improvements in retail environments.
Education
No specific educational requirement stated; secondary or tertiary qualification in business administration, human resources, or retail management is advantageous.
