Role & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and refine existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and ensure on-time delivery
  • Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing problems using Engineering and Lean tools
  • Design and execute experiments to validate process improvements and implement controls
  • Lead new process development and process improvement projects with measurable financial and defect reduction outcomes
  • Provide manufacturing process expertise for New Product Integration, establishing control parameters and fixturing requirements
  • Develop, document, and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process controls
  • Validate technical documentation including drawings, MES instructions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Routes
  • Train production personnel on updated processes and quality standards
  • Maintain safety leadership and adherence to all facility safety requirements
  • Generate Configuration Management Requests (CMRs) to update and correct process documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related discipline with 8+ years of related experience; or Master's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience with time studies or work measurement standards development
  • Demonstrated expertise in good documentation practices and cGMP compliance standards
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in project and time management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
  • Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related engineering discipline (with 8+ years experience); or Master's degree in Engineering (with 2+ years experience)
