Tiffany & Co. Polisher in Pelham, NY – temporary fine jewelry finishing role requiring 5+ years bench experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Polish complex precious-metal jewelry pieces with diamonds and colored gemstones to meet or exceed Tiffany & Co. quality standards and requirements
- Execute pre-polish, lapping, buffing, thrumming, and final polish operations in various precious metals
- Adhere to prescribed routing steps and project timelines to optimize overall efficiency
- Perform all functions in full compliance with quality standards, gemological requirements, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Expedite repairs of precious-metal jewelry pieces of varying complexity for assigned tasks
- Communicate project status, issues, and concerns to management proactively
- Identify potential barriers to completion timelines and escalate concerns immediately
- Maintain professional conduct in a team environment and consistently follow safe work procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bench experience working with high-end and one-of-a-kind jewelry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive experience working with diverse precious materials including platinum, yellow gold, and white gold
- Demonstrated expertise with gemstones and diamonds
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Professional work ethic with commitment to exceptional customer service, compliance with policies, safety, confidentiality, and security
- Proven experience performing and troubleshooting jewelry repairs
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and modified responsibilities
- Willingness to work overtime and modified schedules as required

Experience
Minimum 5 years of bench experience in high-end and bespoke jewelry polishing and finishing, including demonstrated proficiency with precious metals and gemstones, and proven expertise in jewelry repair troubleshooting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25 to USD 34 per hour.
