Tiffany & Co. seeks a Paralegal in New York to support employment law and corporate legal matters. $36.89–$45/hr, permanent, in-person.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the employment law attorney across all practice areas, including hiring, separations, restrictive covenants, accommodations, and wage-and-hour matters
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate employment-related policies, procedures, and agreements
  • Investigate and respond to employee claims, draft position papers, respond to attorney correspondence, and gather information for contentious matters
  • Support compensation and benefits matters, including attending retirement plan committee meetings and preparing minutes
  • Manage outside counsel relationships and oversee departmental budgets
  • Support departmental initiatives concerning outside counsel management, budgeting, training and development, and artificial intelligence exploration
  • Respond to subpoenas, garnishment orders, and other third-party matters
  • Assist with litigation, intellectual property, and commercial contract matters as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a legal or similar focus, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program from a well-regarded academic institution
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
  • Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, exercising sound judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Prior experience in a legal environment such as a law firm, corporate legal department, legal clinic, or similar intellectually rigorous corporate, financial, or government role is highly preferred
  • Prior paralegal experience with a law firm or in-house preferred

Experience
