Tiffany & Co. seeks experienced Paralegal in Corporate Law for New York office to support global corporate transactions, subsidiary governance and legal compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist counsel with global corporate transactions and subsidiary governance matters
  • Support the legal department on a broad range of legal and corporate governance issues
  • Liaise with company officers, outside counsel and local teams on global subsidiary maintenance and governance
  • Draft resolutions, certificates and other basic corporate documents, conduct preliminary contract review under attorney supervision, and prepare basic correspondence
  • Maintain corporate minute books and files for domestic and foreign subsidiaries
  • Assist in the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities and prepare related organizational documents
  • Support litigation activities including document production, interrogatories, file management, record maintenance and litigation summaries
  • Conduct investigations and manage litigation-related administrative tasks
  • Perform general office administration including calendar management, docketing, operations issues and file maintenance
  • Conduct research on regulatory and corporate legal issues relevant to the company and prepare summaries and memos
  • Support compliance programs relating to business ethics, codes of conduct, anti-money laundering, government sanctions, data privacy, records management and unclaimed properties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Familiarity with AI tools for legal research and document management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently while taking direction from supervisory counsel
  • Capacity to navigate ambiguity and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
