Tiffany & Co. in Queens, NY seeks an Order Specialist (Vault) to manage repair orders, inventory movement and vendor coordination. $23–$31/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately process, analyze and move repair orders and associated merchandise through the Repair System and within the Tiffany Service Center (TSC).
- Physically handle and route merchandise to the correct servicing path while maintaining strict merchandise security and chain of custody.
- Validate order information including item descriptions, order types, repair requests and detect potential counterfeit items.
- Assign materials to repair orders and escalate order exceptions or discrepancies to management in a timely manner.
- Serve as a liaison between the Service Center, internal departments and external vendors to resolve order issues and coordinate work flow.
- Respond professionally and promptly to telephone and email inquiries; act as an internal customer advocate to obtain information required for case resolution.
- Support vendor compliance with Tiffany’s Social Accountability Program and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Identify process‑improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Assist management on projects, flexible assignments and workload peaks, including overtime or weekend coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of business experience with a strong operational background.
- Proven initiative with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose process issues and implement practical resolutions.
- Collaborative mindset with experience building effective cross‑functional business relationships.
- Flexible schedule with availability for overtime and occasional weekend work.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of business experience with a strong operational background; experience in operations, technical services or luxury retail/after‑sales environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred. Completion of Graduate Gemology coursework or degree is advantageous.
