Operations Coordinator at Tiffany & Co. in Salt Lake City, UT. Lead retail back-office operations and deliver the Tiffany Experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all back-of-house operations including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and merchandise transfers
- Act as manager on duty and key holder, including opening and closing store procedures in the absence of management
- Execute daily operational tasks such as jewelry cleaning, repair intake, and merchandise care following company policies
- Support sales team by capturing customer data and facilitating new and existing customer cultivation
- Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with all internal control procedures
- Deliver memorable client experiences through the Tiffany Touch and brand ambassador behaviors
- Coordinate client service activities and hospitality to optimize in-store experience
- Respond promptly to client and employee concerns with judgment and thorough knowledge of policy and procedure
- Partner with Sales Professionals and Management to maximize productivity and operational efficiency
- Coach and support team members in performance improvement when acting as manager on duty
- Contribute process improvement feedback through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail operations experience with comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to day-to-day business needs
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping. Store operations or similar back-office retail management experience strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. College or university degree preferred.
