Role & Responsibilities

• Establish robust, repeatable manufacturing specifications for new designs throughout the development lifecycle
• Provide cross-functional teams with initial routing recommendations, manufacturing offsets, and process calculations
• Ensure Hard Prototypes and Production Test Runs align with critical requirements defined in design documentation
• Author product-specific work instructions collaboratively with manufacturing and process teams
• Support the New Product Integration process for new products and dual-sourcing initiatives
• Lead engineering phases during product development and support manufacturing teams for six months post-launch
• Collaborate with Project Leads on initial plans and process maps
• Deliver timely engineering updates throughout development phases
• Define technical tasks and specifications for approved manufacturing processes
• Submit, track, and validate tool room and print requests for fixturing and tooling
• Inspect and measure componentry, assemblies, and samples using supplier submittal forms
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration with CAD/CAM, Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance, and design teams
• Present and contribute actively at all product development meetings
• Compile technical data to prepare project status reports and presentations
• Maintain historical data libraries to optimize future projects and reduce trial-and-error
• Commit to safe work procedures, adhere to site-specific safety regulations, and provide active safety leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering or new product development experience
• Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Proficiency with CAD software (Rhino, Solidworks, or Mastercam)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote)
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Experience with jewelry or luxury goods manufacturing preferred

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering, new product development, or process engineering experience in a precision manufacturing or luxury goods environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline. Equivalent professional experience (5 years) in manufacturing engineering may substitute.
