Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the security team to meet the objectives of the Global Protection Department.
- Ensure adherence to Global Protection Standards and motivate the team to focus on key security drivers.
- Collaborate with Operations and Security Management to identify and implement shrink reduction strategies.
- Optimize security schedules for peak hours and events in partnership with Security Management.
- Support Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management efforts, serving as the point person during emergencies.
- Ensure the functionality and maintenance of physical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and locks.
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations and other tasks as directed by Security Management.
- Enhance client relationships to drive loyalty and increase overall spend.
- Manage the security team to deliver a luxury security experience with a customer-centric approach.
- Collaborate with store management to lead initiatives that enhance the client experience.
- Coach staff to provide a consistent and gracious greeting to clients.
- Maintain a professional and calm demeanor in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Security License
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Highest level of integrity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Authorization to work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a security-related position, preferably within a retail environment, with an emphasis on customer service.
Education
High School Diploma
