Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Setter I position in Cumberland, USA. Stone setting with diamonds and precious stones.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute stone setting operations on diamonds and colored precious stones according to Tiffany & Co. quality standards, ensuring even placement and stone preservation
- Perform pave, prong setting, and burnishing techniques on platinum and 18KT precious metal jewelry
- Deliver clean finished work in a timely manner consistent with departmental production efficiencies
- Maintain safe work practices at all times, including proper use of safety equipment and procedures
- Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to supervisor or manager
- Maintain 5S housekeeping and workplace organization standards
- Read and interpret jewelry blueprints to execute production specifications
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in pave, prong setting, and burnishing techniques
- Proficiency with jewelry-specific tools including burrs, gravers, burnishers, and related hand tools
- Demonstrated ability to work with platinum, 18KT gold, colored stones, and fancy-cut shaped stones
- Ability to read and interpret technical jewelry blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with consistent quality execution
- Problem-solving capability and adaptability to changing production needs
- Capacity to work in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Availability for overtime and weekend shifts as business demands
- Full understanding and compliance with company safety protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in English language communication and comprehension
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in precious jewelry stone setting, including pave, prong setting, and burnishing techniques with diamonds and colored stones. Demonstrated expertise in working with platinum, 18KT gold, and fancy-cut shaped stones. Experience with jewelry manufacturing hand tools and blueprint interpretation required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
