Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce precious jewelry of advanced complexity using laser welding, laser shine, hand soldering, and precision casting techniques
  • Achieve all Level II jeweler requirements and execute specialized technical competencies including laser welding, hand soldering of mixed metals, and complex component casting
  • Assemble functional jewelry components such as springs, levers, hinges, and box clasps to specification
  • Create custom tools and fixtures necessary for product completion and process optimization
  • Train and mentor junior jewelers on advanced techniques and processes to build team capabilities
  • Maintain consistent adherence to strict quality standards and safety procedures at all times
  • Promptly report all incidents and safety concerns to supervisory personnel
  • Maintain 6S housekeeping programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced production environments to meet production targets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years professional experience as a jeweler in luxury goods manufacturing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools including jeweler's files, Foredom rotary tools, and jeweler's saws
  • Hands-on experience operating laser welding and laser finishing equipment
  • Competency in hand soldering techniques using hand torches and mixed metal materials
  • Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical instructions clearly
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision in handcrafted work
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to resolve technical issues independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing production needs and business requirements
  • Capacity to work effectively in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing settings
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as operational needs dictate
  • Sound understanding of workplace safety protocols including proper use of safety glasses, Plexiglas shields, and safe handling of sharp tools and chemicals
