Tiffany & Co. hiring Human Resources Specialist in Toronto, Canada. Manage HR operations, recruitment, benefits, and employee engagement. Permanent, $79,800–$90,000 CAD annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing benefits, policies, leaves, and other HR matters
  • Lead execution of employee engagement and DEIB initiatives across the Canadian market, bringing forward recommendations aligned with business priorities
  • Oversee benefits, leaves, and disability administration with accurate tracking, timely follow-up, and proactive stakeholder communication
  • Participate in Health & Safety meetings and manage workers' compensation claims
  • Partner with HR and retail leadership on return-to-work and employee reintegration following leave of absence
  • Collaborate with payroll on pay exceptions and resolve escalated payroll issues
  • Maintain headcount records, organizational charts, and HR trackers; analyze staffing, retention, turnover, and exit interview data to support talent discussions
  • Facilitate onboarding activities for retail and corporate leadership
  • Support internal communications to ensure alignment with Canadian and North American standards
  • Develop HR tools and resources to enhance leader effectiveness and department efficiency
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for retail positions, including sourcing, interviewing, offer coordination, and candidate experience management
  • Support talent acquisition activities such as interview scheduling, offer presentation coordination, and candidate communications
  • Lead or support recruitment special projects including career fairs, hiring events, and seasonal recruitment initiatives
  • Own recruitment administration, including maintaining activity trackers and overseeing the employee referral program

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within luxury retail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to partner across all organizational levels
  • Hands-on experience with Canadian payroll, benefits administration, workplace accommodations, and disability case management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to interpret HR data and metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and discretion
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and accountability for deliverables
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • College or university degree (desired)
  • Proven experience executing full employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, recruitment, leave management, performance management, and offboarding (desired)
  • Experience working effectively in matrixed organizations, collaborating across HR centers of excellence, regional teams, and global partners (desired)
  • CPHR, CHRP, or CHRL professional designation (desired)

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is desired. Professional HR certification (CPHR, CHRP, or CHRL) is desirable.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 79,800 to CAD 90,000 per annum.
