Tiffany & Co. Mexico: Human Resources Manager – Mexico City. Strategic HR leadership role overseeing talent, performance, and organizational development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner and consultant to develop and deliver excellence in HR service delivery, connecting local Mexican priorities with regional and global HR strategies and capabilities
- Design and propose comprehensive HR strategy that contributes directly to fulfillment of business objectives and aligns with global TCO HR strategy
- Lead Mexico talent strategy, translating business priorities and organizational strategic plans into integrated vision of capabilities, structure, and talent
- Drive talent acquisition and pipeline strategies integrating short, medium, and long-term needs, balancing external recruitment with internal mobility
- Lead succession planning and critical talent continuity initiatives, identifying key positions, future capabilities, high potentials, and possible successors
- Establish performance management culture ensuring consistent talent conversations at all organizational levels with decisions supported by objective criteria
- Manage complex labor relations in Mexico, ensuring consistent, objective, confidential handling compliant with internal policies and Mexican labor legislation
- Advise on disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations, particularly for leadership positions and high-risk or reputational impact situations
- Develop local HR team capabilities, promoting accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and business orientation culture
- Ensure correct implementation and updating of HR policies, processes, and practices aligned with Mexican labor law, corporate standards, and market best practices
- Utilize people data and talent metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights for informed leadership decision-making
- Define and lead annual budget, aligning talent investment with business strategy, financial objectives, and organizational priorities
- Provide financial insights and workforce scenarios evaluating economic impact of organizational structure, headcount, recruitment, compensation, benefits, mobility, and talent development decisions
- Supervise and optimize market budget ensuring disciplined resource management and compliance with corporate policies and applicable fiscal and regulatory requirements
- Promote candidate and employee experience aligned with brand values contributing to development of inclusive, high-performance culture
- Maintain active presence in operations and teams through facility visits and leadership conversations to gather direct insights on talent, leadership, culture, and organizational needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience including HR management experience in Mexico
- Knowledge of sales or service management practices and diverse Mexican labor laws
- Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated experience managing diverse groups of individuals
- Proven consulting, training, communication, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering human resources services
- General business acumen with demonstrated analytical and creative thinking capabilities
- Strong IT proficiency with MS Office and HR systems
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong project management skills and ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent priorities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Advanced degree or additional related work experience
- Industry-specific experience (sales, luxury brands, or multi-brand retail)
- 8–10 years total work experience in HR and/or HR combined with sales/service experience

Experience
Minimum 10 years of human resources experience, including HR management leadership in Mexico. Proven track record of delivering comprehensive HR services across talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, and employee relations. Demonstrated success in strategic HR partnership with business leadership and experience navigating Mexican labor law and regulatory requirements.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
