Role & Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end HR service delivery across the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing administration, and offboarding processes
- Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with full data integrity, comprehensive recordkeeping, and strict adherence to data privacy regulations
- Standardize HR processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and champion continuous process improvement initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll processing in close coordination with Finance and external payroll vendors
- Verify timesheets, wage calculations, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and statutory filings for accuracy and compliance
- Design, benchmark, and administer competitive total rewards strategies including salary structures, performance bonuses, and incentive programs in collaboration with regional leadership
- Manage comprehensive employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Ensure complete compliance with Italian labor laws and statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare periodic HR metrics, dashboards, and audit reports for management and financial review
- Resolve employee inquiries regarding compensation, payslips, tax forms, and benefit-related discrepancies
- Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefits education initiatives
- Monitor internal pay equity and support senior leadership with compensation budgeting and workforce cost analysis
- Oversee year-end payroll reconciliation and associated reporting
- Handle confidential employee data with absolute integrity and discretion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HR Administration with specific focus on payroll and budget management
- Deep understanding of payroll procedures, Italian tax regulations, and labor law compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR reporting platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in HRIS systems management and data integrity protocols
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and mathematical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong prioritization skills
- Previous experience in multinational organizations (preferred)
- Fluent in Italian and English
