Tiffany & Co. seeks a Global Public Relations Director in New York to lead global media strategy and PR for Watches & Jewellery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global communications calendar and editorial strategy across product categories to drive sustained editorial coverage and share of voice across print, digital and social channels.
  • Lead global media strategy for high‑impact collection launches, product initiatives and year‑round PR activations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cross‑functional teams.
  • Partner with regional PR teams to review and approve media, event and partnership requests; align regional programs to global directives, brand guidelines and commercial goals.
  • Oversee the conception, development and dissemination of global press materials, messaging tracks, asset toolkits and briefing documents for product campaigns.
  • Manage global PR budgets for product initiatives and oversee departmental project briefs, ensuring strategic coherence and completeness for execution.
  • Collaborate with the Global Events Director on ideation and activation of event programmes to amplify launches and key collections.
  • Produce global editorial tracking reports and recaps for senior leadership; present proposals and pitch new initiatives to executive stakeholders.
  • Line manage, coach and develop direct reports (2 Global PR Managers) and support the VP in achieving departmental targets and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive public relations or communications experience.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Established in‑house PR experience at globally recognized, admired luxury brands.
  • Proven track record managing top‑tier press and securing high‑impact editorial placements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Demonstrated capacity to prioritise, multi‑task and adapt within a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Strategic thinker with pragmatic execution skills and experience driving cross‑regional alignment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor PR staff.
  • Broad commercial understanding of the Tiffany & Co. business and luxury jewellery category.
