Tiffany & Co. seeks a Finance Manager in Chongqing to lead accounting, tax and treasury operations for the China region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accounting records and financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and relevant local accounting standards.
  • Lead month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting to US corporate headquarters.
  • Ensure local regulatory compliance across financial, foreign exchange, tax, customs and other statutory matters affecting operations in China.
  • Oversee preparation and timely submission of corporate income tax, VAT, CIT, withholding tax and transfer pricing documentation for the China region; manage tax audits and disputes with authorities.
  • Lead treasury activities including short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and coordination with LVMH treasury on cash pooling arrangements.
  • Optimize bank account structures, intercompany funding and cash pooling to reduce idle cash and minimize borrowing costs.
  • Monitor working capital cycles (AR/AP/Inventory), review credit control procedures and drive improvements to cash conversion efficiency.
  • Implement or enhance tax automation tools and standardize tax processes across branches to reduce manual effort and audit risk.
  • Recruit, develop and retain finance talent; implement succession planning, allocate resources and ensure adequate backup coverage.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and training to finance staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture under tight deadlines and complex conditions.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of progressive management experience in accounting and finance, with responsibility for reporting, tax and treasury.
  • Proven track record in accounting, tax and treasury operations; prior experience at a Big Four firm or within a multinational luxury group preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience with US GAAP financial reporting and month-end close processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as business demands require.
  • Strong leadership, integrity and people-management skills with the ability to inspire trust and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise accounting systems; experience with JDE advantageous.

Experience
