Ecommerce Merchandising Lead role at Tiffany & Co. in London; oversee UK and EU digital strategy, German-speaking fluency required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute digital merchandising strategies across 9 UK and EU ecommerce websites, ensuring optimal product category population and promotion to drive sales conversion
- Manage new product uploads, category architecture build-out, product detail maintenance, and promotional activity calendars
- Select and promote key collections and products across seasonal gift guides and lead comprehensive merchandising projects
- Develop, launch, and optimize critical website features including backorders, pre-launches, and in-store locator functionality to enhance customer engagement
- Manage onsite search optimization across the region with full responsibility for German market search performance, requiring professional fluency in German language
- Oversee product recommendation engine management across all nine sites, including testing, optimization setup, and performance reporting
- Monitor daily site functionality, identify technical issues, and report to relevant departments and IT teams; support NY team with site roadmap, UAT, and feature validation
- Provide comprehensive and flexible reporting to the Ecommerce Director on strategic KPIs, weekly and monthly summaries, quarterly reviews, and annual performance roundups
- Deliver tactical analysis and actionable insights utilizing Google Analytics and proprietary Tiffany systems
- Contribute to departmental forecasting and planning to identify opportunities and risks; continuously suggest improvements to the Ecommerce Director
- Supervise, train, and develop an Ecommerce Assistant; delegate ownership of key merchandising features and daily operations
- Achieve or exceed ecommerce annual profit plans, manage promotional budgets within agreed parameters, and maintain accountability for promotional spending
- Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, NY-based Ecommerce teams, Regional Merchandising, Distribution Centre) and external agencies to deliver initiatives on schedule while upholding Tiffany brand values
Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience in a results-driven, multi-channel ecommerce environment
- Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
- Demonstrated full professional fluency in German (written and spoken) for business communications
- Proven experience managing budgets, promotional spending, and external suppliers/partners
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce disciplines, digital marketing channels, and online KPIs
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience with content management systems (proprietary or third-party)
- Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
- Self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities
- Commercially minded and results-driven mindset

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in a multi-channel, results-driven ecommerce environment. Prior people management experience is preferred. Experience across overseas markets including Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, and Ireland is advantageous.
