Tiffany & Co. Ecommerce Merchandising Lead role in London managing UK and EU digital strategies, product optimization, and team oversight.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute digital merchandising strategies across 9 UK and EU websites, ensuring optimal product category population and merchandising to drive sales
- Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities
- Select collections and products for seasonal gift guides and lead all merchandising projects
- Develop, roll out, and optimize key website features including backorders, pre-launches, and find-in-store functionality
- Review and update online inventory, delivering feedback to merchandising and replenishment teams to maximize product allocations
- Manage onsite search across the region and optimize for the German market
- Oversee product recommendation management across 9 sites, including testing, optimization setup, and reporting
- Manage delivery options, engraving offerings, checkout messaging, and collaborate with warehouses on service launches
- Monitor site functionality daily and report issues to relevant departments and IT
- Support the New York team with site functionality roadmap, UAT, feature validation, and site launches
- Provide comprehensive and flexible reporting to the Ecommerce Director and wider business
- Identify and agree strategic KPIs with the Ecommerce Director, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reporting
- Contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual departmental reporting outputs
- Deliver insights and actionable outputs utilizing Google Analytics and internal Tiffany systems
- Contribute to departmental forecasting and planning to identify opportunities and risks
- Supervise, train, and develop an Ecommerce Assistant, overseeing daily workflows and delegating feature and operational ownership
- Achieve or exceed the annual ecommerce profit plan
- Contribute to promotional budget planning and manage all promotional activity within budgetary parameters
Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience in a results-driven multi-channel ecommerce environment
- Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
- Experience managing budgets, promotional spending, and external suppliers and partners
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of ecommerce disciplines and channels
- Strong understanding of all digital marketing disciplines, channels, and platforms
- Strong understanding of online KPIs controlling performance and ROI
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office applications
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative
- Team player with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience with content management systems (proprietary or third-party)
- Commercially minded and extremely driven
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in a results-driven multi-channel ecommerce environment, preferably with luxury retail or high-end consumer goods sectors. Prior experience in overseas markets including Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, or Ireland is highly valued. Previous people management experience is preferred.
Education
Relevant degree and/or professional qualification required.
