Tiffany & Co. seeks a Consultant, In-Store Production (New Development & Custom) in New York to lead luxury display development and custom fixture programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of all new displays, assets, and materials from conception to rollout
  • Establish and maintain rigorous project roadmaps and timelines, monitoring milestones closely to ensure timely delivery by internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement systems for timeline tracking, prototype documentation, and approval workflows
  • Hold vendors accountable to established milestones and quality standards for all new development initiatives
  • Chair and facilitate Design & Production team meetings, setting clear agendas and addressing roadblocks
  • Develop organized file management and technical drawing systems in partnership with the design team
  • Review and analyze design briefs to ensure completeness, requesting additional details where necessary
  • Apply deep expertise in production methodologies and materials to evaluate feasibility and optimize scalable, cost-effective solutions
  • Monitor and manage the prototyping budget to ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Oversee prototype testing in real-world scenarios to validate functionality and product compatibility
  • Ensure new tools and assets are integrated into broader asset management processes, including library updates and installation directives
  • Partner with design to establish clear guidelines for scaling and adapting fixtures across recurring scenarios
  • Oversee custom fixture production and ensure final execution meets design specifications
  • Define and communicate effective installation methods and processes for custom and bespoke displays
  • Support on-site installations as needed to ensure execution aligns with design intent
  • Collaborate with the styling team to understand usage scenarios and establish kit quantities
  • Ensure all rollout communications and directives align with design intent and vendor production methodology
  • Lead initiatives to transition to sustainable production methods, materials, and shipping practices
  • Identify and source new vendors and materials to support innovation, quality, and sustainability objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the in-store production team and freelance support staff
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the production department

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing global production, inventory, or operations in a luxury, retail, or consumer goods environment
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Rhino, Keyshot, and/or Vectorworks)
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong project management capabilities and vendor relationship management
  • Deep knowledge of production methodologies and material properties
  • Experience with prototype development and real-world testing protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Experience
