Tiffany & Co. seeks a Commercial Director in New York to lead The Landmark's commercial performance, client experience and retail leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and drive top‑line sales performance across The Landmark, translating global and regional strategy into measurable commercial priorities and accountability.
  • Design and operate a robust commercial engine—appointment culture, conversion discipline and productivity optimisation—to accelerate client acquisition and retention.
  • Lead client development and elevate luxury service standards by personally engaging top clients, embedding clienteling best practices and monitoring NPS and qualitative feedback.
  • Build, coach and develop a high‑performing, diverse leadership team (Sales Directors, Team Managers), establishing succession plans and performance management frameworks.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance across The Landmark, partnering with operations, HR and support functions to remove execution barriers and maintain audit discipline.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment with merchandising, client development, and regional partners; represent The Landmark externally to strengthen brand positioning and local relevance.
  • Lead change initiatives and cultural transformation, modelling accountability, pace and continuous development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of business management experience in luxury or premium consumer goods with progressive retail leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of luxury categories (jewellery, apparel, accessories or cosmetics) and local/tourism client dynamics.
  • Proven track record of delivering sustained sales growth, productivity gains and improved quality of business in a multi‑store retail environment.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with sales forecasting, P&L responsibility and KPI‑driven management.
  • Experienced talent assessor and developer with a history of building leadership pipelines and driving inclusive high‑performance cultures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
