Role & Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts into 3D CAD models, ensuring manufacturability and quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models for new and existing products, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
- Create detailed drawings for jewelry components, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Perform regular maintenance on 3D printing equipment and manage post-processing of prints.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and potential barriers are addressed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to oversee CAD development and provide updates on project progress.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
- Stay current with industry standards and advancements in CAD technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Art, or a related field.
- Extensive training and experience in CAD and model making with a strong aesthetic sensibility.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in Rhino software, SubD tool in Rhino, and Z-Brush.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD design and jewelry manufacturing is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Art, or a related field.
