Brand Security Officer at Tiffany & Co. in Short Hills, New Jersey — luxury retail security and operations role, $22.53–$30.48/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive security and operations support to enable sales and client service delivery
- Partner with Senior Security Officer and store management to deter theft, investigate missing assets, respond to emergency situations, and implement incident management procedures
- Ensure compliance with security systems and protocols through daily inspections, equipment checks, alarm testing, key access verification, and timely incident reporting
- Execute opening and closing procedures, coordinate facilities maintenance, and communicate operationally with store team members
- Oversee integrated security and back-of-house operations and controls
- Cultivate the Tiffany Experience by delivering positive, memorable interactions with clients from initial engagement through transaction completion
- Deepen client relationships to foster lifetime loyalty and spending commitment
- Act as a Tiffany brand ambassador, embodying core values and supporting consistent achievement of store sales objectives
- Elevate the in-store experience by delivering consistently memorable moments and implementing best practices in hospitality
- Demonstrate brand passion and Client Experience Behaviors aligned with the NPS program during every customer interaction
- Optimize hospitality and store amenities to create unique experiences, respond to NPS feedback, and act on client suggestions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in a retail or security environment (preferred)
- Minimum one year of prior experience in a security-related position (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, with at least one year in a security or loss prevention role within a retail or high-value goods environment; prior experience with luxury retail operations is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
