Tiffany & Co. High Jewelry Analyst in New York, NY — support product development, pricing, and merchandising strategy for luxury jewelry category.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain image grids and SKU-level attributes throughout product development stages, ensuring accuracy of item details and descriptions
- Update and maintain accurate item data across merchandising systems, including loose gemstone and diamond tracking files
- Prepare and review price change submissions while monitoring pricing discrepancies and ensuring gross margin targets are met
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and reporting on sales, product assortment, pricing, and gross margin for High Jewelry category
- Support creation of reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing new product introductions and assortment performance
- Analyze product assortments by collection, classification, price point, and sales trends to recommend merchandise strategies and obsolescence management
- Assist Manager with formal price change reporting and retail setting for new and existing products based on market analysis and margin targets
- Determine retail replacement values for Valuation requests and estimate retails for Custom Design requests using comparable product data
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare presentation materials, distribute reports, and manage administrative project tasks
- Coordinate style-outs, product category reviews, and follow up on PO status updates and order delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Undergraduate college degree
- Minimum 3 years of Merchandising experience
- Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency; rapid adoption of new software and business intelligence tools
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with capacity to prioritize, adapt to change, and meet deadlines consistently
- Process-oriented mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement
- Overall aesthetic sensibility
- Knowledge of High Jewelry industry and/or gemstone expertise (Graduate Gemologist preferred)
- Experience with complex and/or high-value development processes (preferred)
