Tiffany & Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support its Head Office Team and Northern Europe cluster in Munich. The permanent role covers vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, reconciliations, vendor queries, reporting and month-end closing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support invoice processing by receiving, verifying and transferring vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, ensure authorized approval and schedule payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements, ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries, payment issues or credit memo discrepancies.
- File documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records and vendor files.
- Generate accounts payable aging reports and assist with month-end closing.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or accountant (Buchhalter/in, IHK).
- Knowledge of sales tax law, travel expense regulations, invoice verification, master data maintenance and payment systems.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and reliability, a structured approach to work, and the ability to work in a team.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.

At least 3 years; 3–5+ years of accounts payable experience.
Education
Completed apprenticeship as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or accountant (Buchhalter/in, IHK).
